Long hours & red eyes, extended sitting, limited access to healthy foods, high stress situations - the demands faced by flight crews can take a toll on your health & wellbeing, but they don’t have to.
Whether you are worried about your medical, you want to sleep better, eat better, or just look and feel better, I can get you there, on your schedule.
About me:
Aviation can be physically and mentally demanding, involve too many meals eaten away home, disrupt your sleep patterns, leave you sitting sedentary for hours at a time, and expose you to frequent stress, germs and radiation. These factors impact the health and wellbeing of everyone in this huge industry.
Without proper self care, many experience weight gain, gastrointestinal troubles, elevated cholesterol, blood pressure or blood sugar levels, difficulty sleeping, stress, anxiety, and burn out. I have felt for many years now, that few of us in medical and nutrition roles have been paying enough attention to the specific needs of flight crews.
As a registered dietitian and health educator, I have worked proactively with pilots from airlines such as Emirates and Cathay who needed help to keep their medicals, as well as the medical professionals at Emirates who support them. Additionally I have spent years in practice helping people of all ages with everything from weight loss, to gastro intestinal issues, diabetes, to mental health challenges and more.
14+ years ago I married a pilot. We have had many adventures working in various countries, raising a family, all while experiencing the ups and downs of the aviation industry - from air ambulances, to airlines, to corporate flying, to Covid.
I want to help you feel better, be safer, and prevent health issues so that you can enjoy a healthier life at work and at home. Whether you are flying for work or pleasure, I wish you safe travels.

Unsure if aviation health concerns are really an issue?
You don’t have to take my word for it. Below are a few of the studies out there looking at health concerns faced by flight crews that can help you decide which issues are most important for your people. Challenges exist, but so do solutions. Let’s keep everyone healthy by working together.
